Some of our favorite arrangements come in beautiful gift vases or planters, we like this idea because it leaves the
recipient with a lasting memento long after the flowers are gone. We particularly like the Lenox, Crystal, Fenton
and Waterford fine vase selections. Since 1889, Lenox has produced fine china, crystal and house wares, and they
were the first American china to be used in the White House. Waterford Crystal, produced in Ireland, is synonymous with
with class, sophistication and elegance. Fenton Art Glass is beautiful handmade glass created by skilled craftsmen and
is the largest manufac- turer of handmade colored glass in the United States.
An Interesting Fact About Asters
Many of our favorite selections feature or are accented with asters, daisies, chrysanthemums or sunflowers, each of which belongs to the
Aster family of flowers. Asters are known as composite flowers which means their flower head is actually a composite
of many small flowers instead of the "one" they appear to be.
